Delivery Supervisor

About the role

GMG is seeking a Delivery Supervisor to lead last‑mile delivery operations for its Business Unit in Dubai. The role ensures timely, accurate distribution of products from distribution centres to customers, GMG outlets and other accounts while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily last‑mile delivery activities, guaranteeing on‑time and precise deliveries.
• Manage drivers and helpers, handling scheduling, performance monitoring, attendance and policy compliance.
• Plan and allocate routes, vehicles and resources to optimise efficiency and service levels.
• Oversee fleet utilisation, vehicle maintenance, documentation and readiness.
• Investigate and resolve delivery incidents, breakdowns, accidents and driver‑reported issues.
• Ensure adherence to UAE transportation regulations, food‑safety, temperature‑controlled delivery standards and required permits.
• Use Logistics Management Systems (LMS/TMS) to monitor deliveries, track performance and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service and Accounts teams to smooth operations and handle escalations.
• Monitor delivery KPIs and produce operational reports for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation or distribution, including team supervision.
• Background in FMCG, food distribution, retail or pharmaceutical logistics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Logistics Management Systems (LMS/TMS).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
