Demi Chef De Partie – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Westin Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Marina. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes, supporting the kitchen brigade and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble hot and cold dishes, adhering to presentation and quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Monitor food temperatures, conduct quality checks and ensure proper food storage.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, including tools, knives and kitchen surfaces.
• Set up and break down stations for service, and assist with plating and portion control.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar culinary role.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Commitment to follow health, safety and company policies.

Required skills

• Food preparation and portioning.
• Operation of ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Knowledge of food safety and temperature control.
