Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join its culinary team as the resort prepares to open in 2027. The role supports the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality food preparation and service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook, and present food to established quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Monitor portion control, minimize waste, and contribute to cost‑effective kitchen operations.
• Assist with stock management by monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or quality concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support training of junior team members, and uphold company policies and HACCP standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or above; relevant culinary training is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and culinary techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized and detail‑oriented.
