Demi Chef De Partie – Mina's Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef De Partie to join Mina's Kitchen at Westin Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Marina. You will work as part of a culinary team, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, presentation and quality guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Test food for doneness, monitor quality, and ensure correct portioning.
• Set‑up and break down work stations, clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Check and maintain proper temperature of appliances and food.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies and report any issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a food‑preparation or kitchen role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
