Demi Chef De Partie – Refuel Kitchen (Staff Dining)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef De Partie to join the Refuel Kitchen team serving staff dining at W Hotels, Dubai. You will work closely with the Chef to prepare high‑quality meals, maintain kitchen standards, and support a fast‑paced service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, presentation, and quality standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food safety logs.
• Thaw frozen items, portion, arrange and garnish plates, and ensure proper food storage.
• Communicate with service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food for daily specials.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and coaching junior kitchen staff.
• Follow all company safety, security and hygiene policies; report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel or large‑scale dining operation.
• Ability to work standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lb and performing repetitive motions.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
