Design Architect – Prefabricated PODs

About the role

Azizi Developments is seeking a Design Architect to join its PODs Factory team in Dubai. You will be responsible for creating architectural solutions for prefabricated and modular PODs, ensuring they are practical, cost‑effective, and ready for factory production and on‑site installation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs for prefabricated and modular PODs, including bathroom and kitchen units.
• Prepare detailed design, shop, fabrication, and production drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, production, and manufacturing teams.
• Review materials, finishes, construction details, and manufacturing methods.
• Support design optimisation following DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and applicable standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 5+ years of architectural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience in detailed design, construction detailing, and technical documentation.
• Background in modular construction, prefabrication, or factory‑based production is preferred.
• Experience with villa/residential, hospitality, bathroom, or kitchen fit‑outs is a plus.
