About the role
The Design Coordinator will prepare AutoCAD drawings based on details provided by principals, clients and consultants throughout the project brief. This role supports the design team by ensuring accurate and complete documentation for timely project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules as required.
- Incorporate client or consultant changes and ensure drawings receive approval.
- Survey sites and produce as‑built drawings, explaining details and ensuring accuracy.
- Liaise with architects, project managers and quantity surveyors to clarify design information.
- Follow established drawing standards and coordinate layout, style and presentation.
- Review client sketches and specifications, developing drawings from concept to working documents.
- Verify that all deliverables meet project requirements, including variations and amendments.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
- Experience using AutoCAD for architectural drawing production.
Required skills
- AutoCAD.
- CAD drawings.
- Technical schematics interpretation.
