Director - Derivatives Solutions Group

About the role

MUFG is seeking a Director for its Derivatives Solutions Group (DSG) in Dubai. You will lead the delivery of tailored derivatives solutions to a diverse EMEA client base, with a focus on the Middle East and Africa, and work closely with internal product and trading teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key MUFG Bank clients, including corporates, financial sponsors and project finance companies.
• Accurately price, model, execute and book derivative transactions while monitoring risk positions.
• Coordinate pricing requests with XVA and CVA desks, providing necessary information for timely decisions.
• Collaborate with Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Leveraged Finance, Aviation Finance, Securitisation and Rates Trading teams to ensure seamless execution and post‑trade support.
• Expand the department’s international business and enhance the MUFG Securities franchise across the region.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in derivatives solutions and client relationship management.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple product lines and geographies.
• Deep understanding of EMEA markets, particularly the Middle East and Africa.
