Director – Information Technology

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to steer the Information Technology function for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a flagship luxury resort in Dubai. Reporting to Group IT, the Director will shape the IT strategy, ensure robust governance and deliver technology solutions that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Business Unit IT strategy aligned with Group IT objectives, establishing SLAs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Group IT to implement hotel systems, operational technologies and enterprise architecture initiatives.
• Oversee security, scalability, reliability and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Group IT, translating business requirements, managing escalations and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Lead delivery of IT support services for staff and guests, maintaining high service levels and business continuity.
• Manage, coach and develop the IT team through performance management and professional development programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within hospitality or a related service industry.
• Proven ability to design and execute IT strategies that align with broader business goals.
• Strong track record in managing large‑scale infrastructure, security and service delivery operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
