Director, Institutional Trade Execution

About the role

The Director, Institutional Trade Execution will be responsible for executing client orders across equity, fixed income and other asset classes on behalf of institutional investors. The role requires strict adherence to internal policies, exchange rules and regulator requirements while delivering high‑quality execution services.

Key responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders for domestic and foreign institutional clients.
• Process orders received from Sales Traders and report execution promptly.
• Source liquidity from external brokers and maintain a database of block securities.
• Manage order distribution within the execution team.
• Ensure compliance with legal, risk and regulatory policies.
• Prepare daily and weekly call reports for the Head of Desk.
• Promote the desk’s trading capabilities to convert leads into active institutional business.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in finance, economics, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relationship‑management experience, with at least 3 years in a brokerage firm.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of ESCA and UAE market regulations and relevant international regulatory pronouncements.
• Excellent relationship‑management and business‑development skills.
