Director of Business Development – Missiles & Weapons

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Director of Business Development to drive growth in the Missiles & Weapons portfolio. The role will lead opportunity identification, customer engagement and partnership development across defence systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy and long‑term growth plan for missiles, precision weapons and related armaments.
• Identify, shape and capture high‑value opportunities, leading capture strategies, competitive positioning and commercial proposals.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with armed forces, defence ministries, procurement agencies and international partners.
• Manage partnerships, joint ventures, co‑development and technology‑transfer initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, emerging threats and customer requirements, maintaining a qualified pipeline and revenue forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with defence regulations, export controls and internal governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Defence Studies or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of business development, sales or programme/product management experience in the defence sector.
• Proven track record managing major defence programmes and high‑value opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of defence contracting, RFPs, pricing and international markets.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
