Sales Team Lead Africa

About the role

As the Sales Team Lead for Africa, you will own the sales strategy and execution for residential and light‑commercial HVAC solutions across key markets in East, West and Southern Africa. You will drive revenue growth, lead a decentralized sales team and work closely with product, marketing and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales performance, customer engagement and revenue growth across African markets.
• Lead, mentor and develop a decentralized sales team to exceed targets.
• Structure and manage a competitive sales approach, collaborating with product, marketing and channel partners.
• Analyze market potential, steer forecasts, develop account plans, close opportunities and nurture key customer relationships.
• Oversee development of sales tools, pricing alignment, commercial proposals and contract negotiations tailored to African markets.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and own cross‑functional projects that impact sales effectiveness.

Required profile

• University degree (Master, MBA) in International Business, Sales, Marketing, Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, business development or commercial leadership of durable products in an international context.
• Exposure to technical sales or B2B environments; experience in HVAC, building technologies is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record managing and developing high‑performing sales teams across diverse markets.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; additional African market languages advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work across cultures.
