Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Meydan Hotel, located at the iconic Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead its HR function. Reporting to senior management, you will shape and execute a strategic HR roadmap that supports the hotel’s growth and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive HR strategy aligned with corporate objectives, including organisational design and change management.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment for all levels, including senior leadership, and manage talent reviews, succession planning and performance management cycles.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and immigration regulations while maintaining confidentiality and a positive workplace culture.
• Manage manpower planning, departmental budgets, payroll costs and remuneration schemes.
• Utilise HRMS data and employee engagement surveys to improve operational efficiency and staff welfare.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and Middle‑East market dynamics.
