Director of Public Policy – MENA (Dubai)

About the role

Roblox is seeking a Director of Public Policy for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Based in Dubai, you will shape and execute policy strategies that support Roblox’s mission to connect a billion people through safe, immersive digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an engagement strategy with key policymakers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders across MENA.
• Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox, including gaming, child safety, AI, privacy, and consumer protection.
• Advise internal teams on policy matters to inform product development and business operations.
• Produce briefing papers, consultation responses, and articulate Roblox’s public policy positions.
• Collaborate with the wider public policy team on regional and global initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in the MENA region.
• Deep knowledge of MENA policymaking processes and public opinion dynamics.
• Proven experience in intelligence collection, analysis, strategy development, and project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
