Director of Sales – Luxury Hotel Pre‑Opening

About the role

The Gran Meliá Dubai Jumeirah is entering its pre‑opening phase and seeks a visionary Director of Sales to drive commercial success from day one. You will partner with the General Manager and Executive Committee to shape the hotel’s market positioning and revenue strategy for a landmark luxury opening in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the pre‑opening period and ongoing operations, aligned with brand positioning and business objectives.
• Lead all Sales & Marketing activities across Luxury Leisure, Corporate, MICE, High‑End and Strategic Accounts.
• Build and manage key local, regional and international partnerships to generate sustainable revenue growth.
• Collaborate closely with the GM and Head of Marketing to ensure seamless integration of sales initiatives.
• Strengthen Gran Meliá’s luxury brand presence in Dubai and the wider region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury hospitality sales, preferably with pre‑opening projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to design and implement revenue‑driving strategies.
• Leadership skills to build and motivate high‑performing sales teams.
• Excellent relationship‑building capabilities with local and international partners.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for delivering long‑term success for a flagship hotel launch.
