DLP Specialist

About the role

The DLP Specialist will lead the Data Loss Prevention service for a client across endpoint, network, email, Microsoft 365, cloud/SaaS and business workflows. The role is responsible for designing, governing and continuously improving DLP policies while minimizing business disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage DLP policies using Forcepoint DLP and Microsoft Purview across all channels.
• Translate regulatory, classification and business requirements into detection rules, enforcement actions and exception processes.
• Monitor incidents, prioritize high‑risk cases, coordinate investigations and drive remediation with data owners.
• Analyse false‑positives/negatives, tune policies and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Integrate DLP with SIEM/SOAR, ITSM, CASB/SWG, DRM and other security processes.
• Produce operational metrics, business reports and executive insights on risk reduction.
• Mentor the DLP Engineer and ensure technical quality of policy changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience in data loss prevention or information security.
• Relevant certifications such as Forcepoint DLP Administrator/Professional, Microsoft SC‑400, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CDPSE or ITIL Foundation are preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
