Document Controller – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will manage the flow of project documentation, ensuring that all records are accurate, up‑to‑date and compliant with project procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of documents between project operations, engineering, construction and other departments.
• Process document types through all procedural steps, applying the correct numbering, signatures and approvals.
• Receive, track and monitor documents using standard document‑management software, maintaining databases and generating logs, transmittals and reports.
• Scan documents for electronic storage and maintain the established data‑distribution schedule.
• Expedite review, signature approval and release of supplier and internally produced documents.
• Assist junior document‑control staff and perform clerical duties such as filing and messenger service.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of document‑control experience in an engineering design or consulting environment.
• Proficient keyboard skills and solid knowledge of MS Windows, word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
• Hands‑on experience with the Asite document‑management platform.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
