Dozer Reclamation Operator

About the role

Aertssen Machinery Services is seeking a skilled, safety‑conscious Dozer Reclamation Operator to join its earthmoving team in the UAE. The role involves operating bulldozers on land reclamation, coastal development, dredging support and large‑scale earthmoving projects while adhering to project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers safely and efficiently in reclamation, marine and earthmoving projects.
• Spread, level and grade sand, rock and fill materials according to survey markers and project tolerances.
• Conduct daily pre‑start inspections, report defects and coordinate maintenance.
• Work in soft ground, coastal and reclaimed land environments while maintaining awareness of underground utilities and site hazards.
• Collaborate with excavator operators, surveyors, supervisors, truck drivers and other site personnel.
• Complete operational logs, checklists and equipment records; participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Required profile

• UAE Heavy Tractor/Heavy Machinery License (Category 8).
• Minimum 5 years of bulldozer operating experience in civil construction, infrastructure or earthmoving.
• Experience in land reclamation and coastal development projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to interpret grade references, site instructions and operational procedures.
• Proficient basic English for reading work instructions and safety requirements.

Required skills

• Bulldozer operation.
• UAE Heavy Tractor/Heavy Machinery License (Category 8).
• GPS systems knowledge.
