DP Business Management Teacher (Starting Aug 2026)

About the role

The GEMS World Academy Dubai is seeking a dedicated DP Business Management Teacher to join its Business department from August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Business Management to a culturally diverse student body, fostering inquiry, entrepreneurship and community spirit.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the DP Business Management curriculum in line with IB standards.
• Develop engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and real‑world business understanding.
• Provide timely feedback and support to help students achieve academic success.
• Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum development, data analysis and interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to school‑wide initiatives that reflect the IB Learner Profile and the academy’s inclusive ethos.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree plus a teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) in Business.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching secondary Business, preferably within an IB environment.
• Strong understanding of the IB DP framework and its approaches to teaching.
• Commitment to the IB philosophy and the Learner Profile values.
• Passion for working in a non‑selective, multicultural community.
