Drilling Supervisor

About the role

The Drilling Supervisor will lead offshore drilling activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of pile socket drilling for a variety of structures. Reporting to the Drilling Foreman or Barge Superintendent, the role combines hands‑on operation, maintenance, and coordination with store and plant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform drilling and under‑reaming of pile sockets for jackets, trestle piles (SBMS), breasting dolphins, mooring and anchor piles.
• Operate and maintain drilling units such as Wirth pile‑top units and Bowen machines.
• Report any mechanical failures to the PMV or relevant department and follow up until resolution.
• Maintain rock‑bit inventory, conduct repairs, and ensure tools are in optimal condition.
• Monitor drilling‑related parts stock, advise the store and plant on inventory levels, and keep the NPCC Drilling Manual up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Secondary level school education.
• 8‑10 years of experience in construction drilling, preferably offshore.
• Strong communication skills.
