Driver – Transport & Trip Planning

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Driver to safely transport project staff, visitors and equipment between offices, sites and other locations as part of AECOM’s infrastructure projects. The role involves planning efficient routes, maintaining vehicle condition and supporting general administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Transport project personnel, management, visitors and materials to designated locations, adhering to schedules.
• Plan and select the safest, most efficient routes using maps, GPS and knowledge of local traffic conditions.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records and communicate any delays.
• Assist with loading and unloading of documents, equipment and luggage.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, registration renewals and insurance in line with fleet procedures.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, HSE requirements and company driving policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of transported materials and support office errands as required.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence (or equivalent for the jurisdiction of operation).
• Clean driving record and ability to complete defensive driving or HSE training.
• Strong attention to safety, punctuality and professional conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS/navigation systems and map reading.
• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance reporting.
• Defensive driving techniques.
