Dry Utilities Engineer - Design

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a motivated Dry Utilities Engineer to join its Dubai office. You will support multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC, focusing on the design, planning and engineering of dry utilities networks such as power (MV/LV), substations, renewable energy, street lighting, telecom and security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for large, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Report on project performance and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist in building a high‑performing team and mentor junior staff.
• Deliver design solutions, prepare budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery.
• Maintain strong internal and external client relationships.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in a similar utilities or infrastructure role.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to process documents, visit project sites and analyse data related to information and telecommunication systems.
