E & I Construction Section Head

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Construction Section Head (E&I) to join a high‑profile oil & gas project in the UAE. You will lead a crew, ensure compliance with HSE standards, and coordinate daily construction activities to meet project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Educate and enforce HSE rules for the crew.
• Execute day‑to‑day operations according to the construction plan.
• Coordinate with other project sections to achieve targets.
• Secure required resources, materials, and tools on time.
• Identify and resolve technical problems.
• Provide technical documentation and method statements.
• Maintain detailed progress records.
• Interact with the client’s on‑site representatives.
• Ensure work meets quality standards.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Section Head or Senior Engineer on oil & gas projects.
• Middle‑East project experience preferred.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to write method statements and create JSA/FRA documents.
• Experience with installation of cable, CCTV/telecom, fire‑fighting and fire‑gas detection systems.
• Familiarity with linear head detectors, flame detectors, and control systems (ICSS, ESD).
• Proven testing and commissioning expertise.
