Electrical Design Engineer (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi. In this role you will lead the electrical design process for projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, sustainable, and high‑quality electrical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical design for complex projects from concept through detailed design and execution, ensuring compliance with TA regulations, Building Code and obtaining all required NOCs.
• Develop concept designs for low‑current systems and secure design NOCs as per authority regulations.
• Coordinate with design teams to obtain ADCD approval for fire alarm, voice evacuation, and emergency lighting systems.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and calculation reports for construction teams and contractors.
• Review and approve sub‑mittals, shop drawings and as‑built documentation from contractors.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of electrical design experience in Abu Dhabi.
• Possession of an equivalency certificate and AD Engineer Card.
• Ability to work closely with structural, mechanical and architectural teams to ensure seamless system integration.
