Electrical Design Engineer (DM / DEWA / Trakhees Approved)

About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer will be based on‑site in Dubai, delivering end‑to‑end electrical engineering solutions for high‑end residential, commercial and industrial projects. This full‑time position requires independent ownership of the design, coordination, supervision and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with DM, DEWA, Trakhees and UAE Civil Defence codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete electrical designs from concept through to IFC and detailed shop drawings for various building types.
• Lead site supervision, field engineering and quality‑assurance inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare high‑precision technical shop drawings and perform advanced multidisciplinary BIM coordination to achieve zero‑clash models.
• Manage fast‑track authority approvals and execute cost‑effective value‑engineering solutions.
• Provide technical site supervision during installation and authority inspection stages.

Required profile

• Qualified electrical engineer with proven experience in building services design.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects from design to hand‑over.
• Familiarity with DM, DEWA, Trakhees and UAE Civil Defence regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
