Electrical Engineer – Building Services

About the role

AESG is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of building services projects across the UAE. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering design, calculations and coordination for complex electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical designs, calculations and drawings for assigned projects.
• Develop and coordinate electrical models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP and specialised calculation software.
• Collaborate with internal disciplines, clients, consultants and contractors to ensure design integration.
• Supervise junior engineers and modelers, reviewing their outputs and conducting QA/QC checks.
• Report daily progress to the project supervisor and manage deliverables with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of experience in electrical design for building services.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC electrical codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and electrical calculation software.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA and local building codes.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
