Electrical Engineer / Draftsman – MEP BIM Modeller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Draftsman with strong BIM modelling skills to support our MEP projects in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will create detailed electrical drawings, develop Revit models, and ensure coordination across all disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Develop and modify electrical models using Revit MEP.
• Produce 2D drawings and details in AutoCAD.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Maintain BIM models in line with project requirements and resolve design clashes.
• Support project teams with quantity take‑offs, documentation, and revisions.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical drafting, shop drawing preparation, and BIM modelling.
• Hands‑on proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Good understanding of electrical building services and MEP coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
