Electrical Engineer – EPC Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a 12‑month EPC project based in Dubai, with regular travel to Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on overseeing electrical installation, testing and energisation, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco GI standards and international codes throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate electrical design packages, drawings, datasheets, and Bill of Materials.
• Prepare the Project Design Basis Document, load lists and technical reports for equipment not covered by Saudi Aramco standards.
• Manage electrical activities of engineering, procurement and construction contractors during front‑end engineering and design phases.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to finalise the electrical scope for the entire package.
• Conduct equipment analysis, hazardous area classification and system studies.
• Respond to technical and site queries and support commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in electrical engineering within EPC projects.
• Proven experience with Saudi Aramco GI procedures and international standards (IEC, ANSI, NEC, IEEE).
• Ability to travel regularly to Saudi Arabia and work on‑site in Dubai.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce technical documentation.
