Electrical Engineer – MEP Maintenance & Inspection

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will oversee inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and daily MEP operations for Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Dubai, ensuring reliable electrical system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Attend inspections, preventive/corrective maintenance and PPM services performed by subcontractors.
• Monitor daily MEP operation to guarantee smooth performance.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly MEP reports and schedules.
• Maintain records of PPM reports, schedules and third‑party inspection certificates.
• Support the BMMS team during inspections and handle project hand‑over documentation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MCC panels, MDB/SMDBs, UPS, lighting networks, motors, pumps and automation components.
• Diagnose system faults and implement technical solutions to minimise downtime.
• Keep maintenance logs, breakdown reports and asset history records up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience.

• Experience with MCC panels.
• Knowledge of MDB/SMDB systems.
• UPS installation and maintenance.
• Lighting network design and upkeep.
• Motor and pump maintenance.
• Automation component troubleshooting.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
