Electrical Inspector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team on a major project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing electrical works, ensuring compliance with specifications, and supporting the Resident Engineer in delivering the MEP package.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect contractor’s electrical works and review technical submittals, method statements, and as‑built drawings.
• Conduct site surveys, monitor progress, and generate weekly/monthly discipline reports.
• Witness commissioning of major systems and verify compliance with contract specifications.
• Coordinate electrical services with other disciplines and report quality non‑conformances.
• Maintain discipline documentation in line with the Project Quality Plan and report safety violations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on construction supervision experience in building services.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, drawing control procedures, and knowledge of British, American and International design standards.
• Ability to manage contractor QA submittals, testing and commissioning requirements, and MEP package delivery independently.
