Electrical Maintenance Engineer (High Voltage)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong high‑voltage experience in operations and maintenance within a facility‑management environment. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems while leading teams and maintaining the highest HSEQ standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high‑voltage (HV) electrical systems, including substations, transformers and switchgear.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise energy use.
• Lead and supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring safe and effective task completion.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, shutdowns and projects with FM teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records and incident investigations.
• Manage emergency response, fault diagnosis and timely resolution of electrical failures.
• Enforce HSEQ policies, conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety audits, and apply PTW and LOTO procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in high‑voltage operations and maintenance within facility management.
• Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
• Valid driver’s licence.
