Electrical & Mechanical Engineer – Emirati National

About the role

WSP is looking for enthusiastic Emirati Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to join its Middle East team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers hands‑on experience, mentorship and exposure to a variety of engineering projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyse and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and project plans.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure project execution complies with technical standards.
• Help review project budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality and sustainability throughout engineering activities.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Internship or project experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably within consultancy, construction or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
