Electrical Project Engineer – Luxury Hotel Development

About the role

The Electrical Project Engineer will lead all electrical works on a luxury hotel development in North Africa. Based in Dubai, you will coordinate with subcontractors, fit‑out teams and specialist vendors to deliver high‑quality hospitality electrical systems on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical works including power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, data, CCTV, access control, AV and lighting control.
• Coordinate sequencing and quality with electrical subcontractors and fit‑out contractors.
• Review and approve shop drawings, coordination drawings, material submittals and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and consultant comments.
• Manage specialist systems such as BMS, GRMS, UPS, generators and fire alarm.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests and site documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities, including O&M manuals and as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of GCC experience on electrical and ELV works, preferably on luxury hotel or high‑end hospitality projects.
• Willingness to relocate to North Africa.
• Strong knowledge of LV, ELV, lighting control, fire alarm and specialist electrical systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination and pressure‑handling abilities.
