Electrical Site Engineer – Sharjah, UAE

About the role

The Electrical Site Engineer will oversee electrical installation activities on industrial and plant projects in Sharjah, ensuring work follows project plans and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with consultants, other departments, and supervising on‑site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Substation installation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with other departments and consultant inspectors for material and work inspections.
• Execute work as per project plan.
• Supervise manpower and monitor productivity.
• Read and interpret single line diagrams (SLDs) and electrical drawings.
• Install MV & LV transformers and electrical panels.
• Perform MV & LV cable laying, glanding, and termination.
• Install cable containment systems.
• Identify faults and conduct troubleshooting.
• Monitor work progress and material usage.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in industrial or plant electrical projects.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• UAE experience preferred.
