Electrical Trainee – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

The Electrical Trainee will support the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of electrical systems across project sites, offices and workshops in Abu Dhabi. Working under supervision, you will ensure all work complies with local codes, HSE regulations and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair wiring, control panels, distribution boards, lighting and power outlets.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults using testing instruments.
• Execute work according to approved drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Carry out earthing, grounding and insulation resistance testing.
• Support commissioning activities and respond to electrical breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow electrical standards, safety regulations and company policies.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi.
