Electrical Training Instructor

About the role

The Electrical Training Instructor will design, develop and deliver technical training courses for ADNOC employees and contractors. This role is based at the Training Center in Abu Dhabi and focuses on electrical engineering topics and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver both general and specialized electrical engineering training programs, ensuring high educational standards.
• Evaluate third‑party training providers, training materials and delivery methods, and continuously improve course content.
• Conduct safety training such as H2S, BA and WMS for on‑shore personnel and contractors on an on‑demand basis.
• Maintain comprehensive training records, produce statistical reports, and monitor training budgets.
• Perform training gap analysis, develop training plans based on asset needs and accident investigations, and report progress to the Training Center Team Leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical or chemical process industry, with at least 1 year in a training role.
• Train‑the‑trainer certification and proven ability to create training materials.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical situations.
