Electrician – Commercial & Retail Facilities

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair across our commercial and retail facilities in Dubai. The role ensures compliance with electrical codes and safety standards while supporting uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair lighting, power distribution, control panels, switchgear and emergency backup systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults, conduct inspections and troubleshoot wiring, circuits, outlets and fixtures.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete tasks within defined timelines and quality standards.
• Interpret electrical drawings, layouts, load calculations and wiring diagrams to execute installations accurately.
• Supervise and guide assistant electricians on‑site, ensuring proper techniques and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed, materials used and follow‑up recommendations.
• Coordinate with HVAC, AV, carpentry and maintenance teams for cross‑functional technical delivery.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and unplanned outages to minimise disruption.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment and ensure use of appropriate PPE.
• Recommend material specifications and support procurement of electrical components.

Required profile

• ITI certification or Diploma in Electrical or a related trade.
• 4‑6 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, preferably in retail or commercial environments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools, wiring diagrams and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adhere to safety standards.
