Electro-Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Zutari is seeking an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Engineer to support major infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves planning, design coordination, technical review and site support for electromechanical systems across transport assets. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable and energy‑efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate electromechanical systems for stations, depots, tunnels, buildings, roads and utilities.
• Prepare and review design deliverables for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire‑life safety, ventilation, drainage and pumping systems.
• Develop technical specifications, calculations, drawings, schedules, bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals and commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with civil, structural, architectural, ICT, SCADA and operations teams.
• Support design assurance through interdisciplinary reviews, constructability checks and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with RTA requirements, Dubai regulations, UAE codes and international standards.
• Participate in site inspections, technical meetings and factory acceptance tests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering electromechanical systems for complex transport or infrastructure projects.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills and ability to work with diverse engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Dubai and UAE regulatory frameworks and international codes.
• Excellent technical documentation and review capabilities.
