Electronics Trading Manager (Buy & Sell Side)

About the role

The Trading Manager will lead revenue‑generating activities for a newly launched B2B electronics trading platform. Operating as a principal across multiple global markets, you will source, price, and distribute high‑value inventory, driving margin and deal velocity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop supplier relationships with electronics and IT brands, authorised distributors, retailers and grey‑market channels.
• Source excess stock, promotional inventory, end‑of‑life products and opportunistic deals to build a consistent supply pipeline.
• Determine optimal sales strategies, set pricing, allocate volumes and manage outbound distribution to qualified buyers.
• Respond rapidly to buyer RFQs, convert inbound demand into closed orders and maximise gross margin.
• Use the company’s evaluator engine to calculate landed costs, assess deals and set competitive pricing.
• Lead supplier‑side negotiations on price, payment terms and volume commitments, and negotiate customer pricing to stay competitive.
• Monitor market pricing movements and adjust strategies dynamically.
• Maintain and grow a network of suppliers and key buyer accounts across target geographies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B wholesale trading, distribution or commodity dealing, preferably in electronics or IT.
• Strong negotiation track record in competitive environments.
• Self‑starter capable of managing the full deal lifecycle independently.
• Existing network of suppliers or buyers in electronics, IT or related categories.
• Experience trading across Middle East, Europe or Asia markets.
• Familiarity with grey‑market, excess stock or opportunistic trading.
