Elevator Adjuster – Dubai

About the role

Otis is seeking an Elevator Adjuster to join its Dubai service team. You will work on-site at client locations, ensuring elevators and escalators operate safely and efficiently under the guidance of senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks before starting work at client sites.
• Clean, lubricate and test the over‑speed governor.
• Check and correct static balancing of units and adjust final limits.
• Lubricate the Safety Action Mechanism and perform functional tests.
• Install door skates and set door locks, inspecting bolts and fasteners.
• Perform unit safety checks by travelling the car top through the shaft and verifying electrical operations.
• Escalate concerns to the supervisor and complete NCR forms.
• Set controller parameters, adjust acceleration/deceleration and ride quality to Otis standards.
• Inspect motor pits and escalator steps, clean debris, and test escalator movement.
• Prepare installation inspection reports, field test data reports and safety audit documentation.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in elevator or escalator adjustment.
• Ability to work under the guidance of a senior adjuster.
• Commitment to follow safety procedures and company standards.
