ELV Technician – Dubai

About the role

The ELV Technician will join Convergint’s security projects in Dubai, working under the supervision of a Project Engineer. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining low‑voltage security systems across commercial and high‑end residential sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install security system components such as cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks, and printed circuit boards.
• Lay and terminate structured cabling for CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform on‑site installation, testing, and service of intrusion, CCTV, and access control solutions.
• Travel to multiple customer locations to complete installations and provide after‑sales support.
• Fabricate cables and small parts as needed to ensure successful installations.

Required profile

• Minimum High School education; IT diploma or related certification is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in security services or ELV installations within the UAE.
• UAE driving licence is advantageous.
• Ability to read technical drawings, datasheets, and work instructions.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or in a team.
