Emergency Medicine Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our leading healthcare facility. The physician will deliver timely, high‑quality care to patients with acute and life‑threatening conditions in a fast‑paced emergency department.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize and manage patients presenting with medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform rapid triage, clinical assessment and order appropriate investigations.
• Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, abdominal and other emergency conditions.
• Provide emergency resuscitation, airway and cardiovascular management.
• Carry out emergency procedures within scope of training and privileges.
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, imaging and other diagnostic investigations.
• Coordinate care with specialists, ICU, surgery and other departments.
• Arrange admission or transfer for critically ill or unstable patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/MS/DNB/Arab Board/MRCP or equivalent qualification in Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum 3 years post‑specialisation experience in Emergency Medicine (preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment, decision‑making and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
