Emirati Cuisine Chef (Full-time, Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Emirati Cuisine Chef to join our Abu Dhabi kitchen on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The chef will be responsible for creating authentic Emirati dishes for restaurant service, events and catering, ensuring consistent taste, quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and present traditional Emirati menu items for daily service and special events.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, cooking, plating and portion control.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards, and oversee inventory of Emirati ingredients.
• Control food costs, optimise procurement and contribute to menu development.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior kitchen staff, coordinating with front‑of‑house teams.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in authentic Emirati cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and HACCP.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a high‑volume environment.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
