Employee Dining Room Attendant

About the role

The Employee Dining Room Attendant ensures a high‑standard food service experience for hotel staff. You will plan, prepare, set up and serve a variety of menu items while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tables, condiments, beverages and display cold food items according to service standards.
• Check stock levels, requisition supplies and transport them to the dining room.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, ingredients and presentation guidelines.
• Operate equipment correctly and keep work areas sanitary.
• Assist employees with food and beverage service, engage in courteous conversation and respond promptly to their needs.
• Handle employee complaints and forward them to the appropriate department.
• Clean and reset tables immediately after use and ensure continuous cleanliness of the service area.

Required profile

• Familiarity with the dining room’s capacity, operating hours and table‑setting standards.
• Understanding of menu items, portion sizes, temperature requirements and garnish specifications.
• Ability to follow departmental policies, service procedures and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills to maintain positive employee relations.
