Employee Relations Specialist – Corporate Services

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist will lead the escalation process and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters across Al-Futtaim Group’s Corporate Services division in Dubai. The role ensures that investigations, policy development, and ethics programs are aligned with local labour laws and the Group’s values of respect, excellence, collaboration, and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate advice on employee relations issues, policies, and local labour law compliance.
• Manage the Speak‑Up channels, investigate allegations, and track cases to ensure fair outcomes.
• Conduct impartial investigations, mediate conflicts, and recommend corrective or disciplinary actions.
• Act as translator during grievance or appeal hearings and communicate ER programs.
• Maintain and update ER policies, SOPs, SLAs, and ensure they comply with relevant legislation.
• Develop and deliver ER training materials and awareness campaigns.
• Promote an ethical culture, support business ethics initiatives, and participate in HR strategic projects.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UAE labour legislation and corporate ER best practices.
• Proven ability to conduct confidential investigations and mediate disputes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translation support when needed.
• Experience developing policies, SOPs, and training programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and uphold ethical standards.
