Energy Manager

About the role

The Energy Manager will lead Innovo Group’s energy function, overseeing the planning, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of temporary energy systems and construction plant optimisation across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Construction Energy Management Strategy aligned with operational, sustainability and innovation goals.
• Set departmental objectives, standards, procedures and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in construction energy performance.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to reduce energy consumption, fuel usage, operating costs and construction‑phase carbon emissions.
• Lead and develop the Construction Energy Team, managing resources, performance and technical growth.
• Oversee planning, implementation and optimisation of temporary power systems, construction plant and facilities to improve energy efficiency.
• Review and approve energy optimisation studies, technical recommendations and innovative solutions.
• Monitor project energy performance, analyse data and support informed decision‑making.
• Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and best practices to enhance construction energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Sustainability Team to support corporate carbon‑reduction objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (approximately 13 years) in energy management within construction or industrial projects.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, temporary power systems and sustainability objectives.
• Ability to develop strategies, set standards and drive continuous improvement.
