Engineer - Planning

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Engineer – Planning to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules that meet RTA specifications and contractual requirements, while supporting the delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive project schedules (baseline, recovery, revised) using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Monitor progress against approved baselines, identify delays, and assess critical‑path impacts.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and time‑impact analysis in line with contract terms.
• Coordinate planning activities with RTA approval procedures, including interim milestones, traffic staging, and authority approvals.
• Review contractors’ programs, planning submissions, and method statements against contractual milestones and KPIs.
• Prepare master schedules, look‑ahead programs, and weekly/monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in project planning for infrastructure or construction projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with RTA specifications and contractual requirements.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (or equivalent planning software)
