Engineer, Quality Calibration

About the role

The Engineer, Quality Calibration will perform end‑item quality control checks on calibrated items within the Calibration Laboratory, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and EAIC requirements. The role involves verifying metrological traceability, auditing maintenance records, and validating calibration certificates before release.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑item quality control checks on calibrated items and validate results for compliance.
• Verify metrological traceability of laboratory equipment and ensure Calibration Measurement Capability (CMC) is up‑to‑date.
• Perform scheduled or random line audits to confirm preventive maintenance and intermediate checking records follow procedures.
• Review calibration certificates for accuracy and compliance with ISO 17025 and EAIC requirements prior to release.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering degree preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in calibration activities or a calibration laboratory.
• Strong understanding of quality and technical auditing requirements per ISO/IEC 17025.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to perform uncertainty measurement calculations (preferred).
