Engineering Associate (UAE National)

About the role

Coordinate with other departments using telecommunications devices to respond to maintenance requests, schedule major system shutdowns, and maintain purchase order logs at Aloft Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including major system shutdowns or repairs.
• Maintain purchase order logs, file purchase orders upon payment, and ensure orders match packing slips.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report hazards, and handle flammable materials safely.
• Provide guest service by welcoming, acknowledging, and assisting guests, including those with disabilities.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Enter and locate work‑related information using computers and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.

Required skills

• Use telecommunications devices for coordination.
• Perform visual inspections of tools and equipment.
• Enter and locate work‑related information using computers.
• Lift and move objects up to 10 pounds.
