Engineering Manager – Defence Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering workstreams for complex defence programmes at KATIM in Abu Dhabi. The role combines technical leadership with programme management to ensure delivery of schedule, cost, quality and integration objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Systems, Software, Hardware, Integration, Test, Cybersecurity and Network teams across defence projects.
• Plan resources, milestones, dependencies, risks and engineering priorities.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for stakeholders, customers, suppliers and programme leadership.
• Support technical decisions, risk mitigation, change control and engineering governance.
• Drive delivery against technical, schedule, cost, quality and integration targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in defence, aerospace, communications or mission‑critical technology.
• Proven track record leading engineering development activities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, systems integration, verification and programme delivery.
• Experience working in regulated or defence environments.
